8 months old ...

Today I am 8 months old. I think I am getting more "understanding" now. Whenever I made Mummy angry, like refusing to stay still in the car ride, she will give me an unhappy face and says to me sternly: "Mummy's angry... Mummy's angry..." and.... I kind of understood. I will look back at her with a funny grin, and then she will melt away and says she loves me very very much and start kissing me non-stop.

Mummy is worried as to why I can't crawl yet. I think she worry too much. Some babies crawl when they are 10 or 11 months old. Some do not even crawl and they went straight to standing and then walking...

Jeanette jiejie - Cheer up!

Jeanette jiejie, don't I look adorable in this Osh Gosh polo T you bought for me? It fits well, I am sure this can last me another 3-6 months, cos I seems to have not put on any weight since 5 months old... Meizhen Auntie also said I lost weight. No one calls me KingKongKang now. Who's the saddest? Fatfat Mummy lor...
Anyway, please cheer up, everythings gonna be fine!

Indian Lady!

Mummy always make me laugh by making funny faces, making silly sounds and singing hilarious songs. Like this "Yin Du Gu Liang" song she sang, heehee, really tickles my bone! She said I looked like a Indian lady because right in the middle of my forehead there was a dot (which was a scar created from my finger-nail scratch) ... crazy mummy, so cute..

I love my Papa ...

I have a great daddy who cares alot for me. On weekends, he will relieve mum by playing with me so that she can flip the newspaper or watch the TV for an hour or so. He also helps to change my diapers and clean my poo-poo. He has a lot patience and love for us. I am so glad to have such a wonderful daddy!

Mummy miss me so much...

After spending 6 full days with me, mummy went back to work today. She felt like a walking zombie. She missed me so much that she's talking about staying home with me forever (again). She said whenever she took long leave to spend time with me, she will find herself so close to me that she develop this "hatred" of going back office ...

I had a quite a "scary" night yesterday... I saw a "stranger" appearing in our house late at night and cannot stop crying. It's Uncle Ray who visited our house. I saw him afew times before and were smiley to him, but not this time. Maybe I used to be a "social butterfly" when I was younger, smiley and giggling to everyone. Now at nearly 8 months, I already know how to recognise people. If I see familiar faces (like my mamaee), I will usually give her my biggest smile. Maybe I thought Uncle Ray was going to take me away? Hahaha... Anyway, I hope I will be more friendly towards him the next time he comes visit again.

My first attempt to eat that tiny tiny biscuit...

Mummy will only let me eat "titbits" when I know how to grab tiny objects. Aiyo, so difficult, is she trying to be funny? The biscuit is so small!! I really have hard time picking it up!! Before I can even put it inside my mouth, it has already been crushed by me!!

We're having a lovely time ... I love sitting on Mummy's stomach

Sometimes we have nothing to do at home... just play...play...play... we enjoy every minute of it. Even if its just glancing at each other. I hope I have not develop separation anxiety yet. I find myself glueing to Mummy more and more these days. I love it when we snuggle up.

Mummy said these days she will die if I sit longer than 10 minutes on her stomach. But didn't she said I have lost weight? Haha...

At Ikea ...

Mummy was on leave for 4 days from 4th to 9th Dec. I guess she will miss me very much after that. I have been hearing her talking about resigning and taking care of me full time, but this has not happen yet. I think she is afraid of giving up her favourite pasttime - shopping, heh heh. And she always question herself as to whether she will do a good job as a full-time-stay-home-mum...

Mummy, I am contented as long as you are by my side. We had so much fun together. We are the "hng har suan bao"!

Things that change when you have a baby...

Mummy quoted these from a website which she completely agrees!!
1. The sacrifices you thought you made to have a child no longer seem like sacrifices.
2. You find that your baby's pain feels much worse than your own.
3. You lose touch with the people in your life whom you should have banished years ago.
4. Your heart breaks much more easily.
5. You think of someone else 234,836,178,976 times a day.
6. Every day is a surprise.
7. Your love becomes limitless, a superhuman power.
8. You discover how much there is to say about one tooth.
9. You don't mind going to bed at 9 p.m. on Friday night.
10. You realize that the 15 pounds you can't seem to get rid of are totally worth having.
11. You take the time for one more hug and kiss even if it means you'll be late.
12. You just plain love life more - everything comes together and becomes better because of one tiny person and your love for them.
13. No matter what you've accomplished in life, you look at your child and think, "I've done a GREAT job!"
14. You can have the most wonderful conversation using only vowel sounds like "ahhh" and "oooo."
