Counting down to 2010...

2009 passes like a flash! The Biggest event was definitely the day (14 April 2009, a Tuesday) Mamamee Gina gave birth to her little bearbear... Me lah! This is a special year to her, a year of extreme happiness but also a year of serious hormonal fluctuations and mood swings. Fortunately things are pretty back on track now. Mummy still worry alot for me thou, as I am not so good in "sleeping and eating". I have also stop putting on weight since 5mths old and does not seems to have grown any taller. Plus the fact that I have eczema (sensitive and dry skin) and allergies to certain food (egg yolk and fish to be exact, for now...), all these are worrisome enough to give her weekends headaches and insomnia. Mmm... these are all quite common among babies my age, isn't it? I really wish Mummy will learn to relax more yeah...

Anyway, 2010 will definitely be a much better year for all of us. Wishing all jiejies, aunties and uncles reading my blog, a very very HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I wish we have more things to do rather than shop shop shop...

I've been to Ion Orchard so many times, even mummy feels "jerlard". She said she's waiting for me to be more "steady", then Papa will bring us and my new Pooh car to East Coast Park. Apparently I am still too young to be placed seating on toy car or bicycle. Mummy can't wait for me to grow up... but on the other hand... she kept telling Daddy she's starting to miss me as an infant already... a small little baby... because I am starting to look and behave like a boy-boy. Although still super adorable (ahem... so thick-skin), she wants me to be her baby forever...
Mummy, I am your baby forever lah, love ya!

Mummy wants to eat my feet...help!

She says they look so cute and delicious to her ... I don't understand!

Goodbye... my dear standing bath tub...

Its time to say goodbye to this bath tub (or should I say, the stand?) Mummy said its too dangerous now for me to take a bath at such a tall height since I may tumble anytime if not careful. She said this was one of her "life-saver" best buy of the year, she wouldn't have survive my "pon-pon" time if needed her to squat or sit on a small chair (because her pork belly's thick enough to contribute as a hindrance to her squating). But now the reality has come, she needs to brave herself and start our new bathing journey - "Bathtub on the floor". No problem ok Mamamee, you can do it! And don't throw your favorite standing bath tub, who knows...?

Gina : Oh no... I definitely look like a 108kg, 45yr old auntie in this video! Cannot hide liao...

I enjoy my afternoon stroll with Mummy

Mummy's quite stressful whenever she took leave to accompany me. Why? Because she runs out of idea to entertain me. So these days she try to bring me downstairs for a stroll (and she always end up going to NTUC ... bringing back home packs of potato chips and her favourite Garlic & Onion broadbeans...)
Our day at home is usually rather routine :

10.00am-bath then drink milk
10.30am -pushing me in stroller at corridor area and Mummy humming beautiful songs, praying I nap asap so that she can read Straits time or magazines
12.00pm-Play
12.30pm- Lunch with Hi5 & Barney, clean up and change
2.00pm-NTUC time (or GGT - Gina's "Guilty" Time)
2.30pm-Play
3.30pm-Milk and sleep (ok, I confess, I don't sleep much)
4.30pm-Downstairs strolling again
5.30pm-Play
6.00pm-Dinner
7.00pm-finally Papa come home... Mummy needs to get out to breath...
Mummy's usually exhausted after taking care of me one full day. Aiyaya, like that how to become a stay-home mum? Mummy, you should lose some weight first, it definitely helps worrr... tsktsktsk

I love Peekaboos!

Mummy always covers herself up or try to hide somewhere so as to surprise me, I lurrve it!

Oh I am so excited to see Barney... errrr... for 10 seconds?

I love the opening theme song, but just for the first few verses, after that... mmm... maybe the remote controller seems more interesting. But I do dance to this song whenever Mummy sings it, again only to the first few lines and I'll lost interest, heeeeee.... Its really catchy lah! (Mamamee loves it!)

Mummy loves me in this floral polo T!

A little 70s Kalipok hairstyle...

Not sure if I look "gayish" in this, but Mamamee thinks I look totally adorable. Thanks to Uncle Ray!
Today I went Toa Payoh Ah ma house. Not so good, I cried non-stop when Ah Gong baobao me. I think I wasn't too familiar with my TP granny & granddad as I only see them once a week. I was sobbing so uncontrollably that Mummy had to carry me out of the house for 10 to 15 minutes to distract me. Things did not get any better when Ping Ping GuGu arrived and carried me, I cried again. It was after about an hour of playing later then I stop crying. Bad uh? I really pray this won't happen again if not my gonggong sure very sad. Hai, I'm only comfortable when familiar faces carry me, so when I haven't register a particular person in my memory disk, then its a "no-carry me please". Mummy used to tell people I am a very "shui bian" baby, any Tom Dick Lucy Mary also can carry me. Guess she's wrong...
A Tip from the Trenches
No hurt feelings
Babies crave familiarity because it makes them feel secure. This applies to the people in your baby's life as well, and he tends to like those he sees on a regular basis. The people who don't see your baby very often might feel rejected if he doesn't remember them or becomes scared around them. Explain to the person that Aidan is shy when meeting people initially, and takes a while to warm up. Ask that they give him a little time and space, and it won't be long before he comes out of his shell and starts clowning for them.

Christmas is just round the corner ...

Due to the human traffics, we had to limit ourselves to just sitting inside the car and view the Christmas lightings as we drove down Orchard Road (I wasn't really interested by the way...). These pictures were taken at City Square. Mummy complained it was so difficult to have a nice family picture together because it was near impossible to get me to look at the camera and SMILE.

Frosty the snowman
=============
Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul
With a corncob pipe and a button nose and two eyes made out of coal
Frosty the snowman was a fairy tale they say
He was made of snow but the children know how he come to life one day
There must have been some magic in that old silk that they found
For when they placed it on his head he began to dance around
Frosty the snowman was alive as he could be
And the children say he could laugh and play just the same as you and me

Photos... photos... photos...

Do you believe mummy has got more than 4000 pictures of me and hundreds of videos? She said she had so many that she felt confused as to which to put in this blog or even which has been used before. She said she will cut down on taking pictures of me every alternate days to just once a week liao. Aiyo, so sad... at my expense... hee...

Then we can all go downstairs and play "choo-choo"! So fun!!!
